no not at all! In fact they do look tired because of the hot summer sun and old old tyres buried in sand.. Tired of waiting to decompose and fade away..
If you want to really see beauty in bad things, check out this guy, Edward Burtynsky, he takes photos of the most dire things that man has done to the planet and makes them into pure art
This is a good place to learn, i have learned so much from the people on here, there are some awesome photographs, i would include your tyres as on of them, I like to see a spirit of place, if you know what i mean, Just a vicarious tourist really
I am super interested in Landscape Photography.. It interests me more than any other kinds of Photography.. Capturing a landscape for me is something I can’t express with words.. If I get those really High End cameras with Wide screen capture and some cash; then I don’t think I would ever return to my homeland.. I would travel all over the world to capture it from every angle possible..
Oh Ya I didn’t think about transport.. A motorcycle under my butt would be good too.. Though I love cars, but they can’t go anywhere like a motorcycle does..
That is the advantage, i have been in situations where the bike keeps going and thecars have stopped, however, the rider may not be as comfortable as the car drivers..
Nature takes over eventually.
I wonder what story those tires would have to tell…
I love these kinds of photos. If only they could talk they would have so many stories to tell.
very thought provoking
Nice.
Hope you have a great day! Take care! 💋
A monument to the empire of rubber ? rubber comes from nature and here it goes back to nature.
Can nature ever bring this place back to life ever again? It looks so devastaed.
Surprisingly, after the rains, it became pretty awesome.. Another one of nature’s tricks, I guess..
Nature never lets anythin’ go to waste i’m sure
Natural Re-cycling
True
it looks tired
Yeah
Yeah, sad joke

They have a slow rate of decomposition, not the most environmetally friendly things.. But the look cool like that in the sun
I guess there is beauty in almost all bad things.. You have to be willing to look at it a differently though.. Like in this one..

Damn…. A true devil’s advocate
Both sides of the coin for me
Genius! I am looking at his photographs rite now and I can’t help but appreciate the disasters so that he could click such awesome pics!
But wait, there is more, there is a documentary that follows a trip to China, it is so awesome i cannot describe it.
What is the documentary called?
Manufactured Landscapes, enjoy, it really is worth it in my opinion, if you liked the photographs you will like the doco more
I have seen that one! Is it by the same person?
It is the same guy, cannot remember who made it though, lots of his photos and some video of him
I hope you don’t mind.. But I followed your blog so we could stay in touch..
No worries, follow me, i do some interesting things occasionally, however, be warned, i am lost too
So am I
But you got interesting pics on your blog too.. I would be happy to look and learn

Sounds like a good idea. My plans are similar but involve a motorcycle as means of transport

True.. I gues its about time somebody invents a car that transforms into a bike and back to a car again..
